The Telly Awards has named MetaMedia Training International, Inc. (MetaMedia) as a Silver award winner in two categories in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for their training program titled, Lessons To Go Home Safe. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor. The Telly is made by the same company that produces the Oscar™ and the Telly Silver is the highest award given.
MetaMedia produced a three part safety series for The Center for Research and Training/Center to Protect Workers Rights (CPWR) through a grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and posted the videos on CPWR’s YouTube Channel. The videos focus on construction worker safety in order to help prevent serious injuries and fatalities that occur on job sites across the country all too often. The videos are designed to inform workers and their companies how these unnecessary accidents could have easily been avoided.
The awards for the Lessons To Go Home Safe series were for:
- Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces – Safety
- Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces – Use of Animation
Less than 10% of entries are chosen as winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honor, from a pool of hundreds of applicants.
